Burlesque star Clams Casino is the daughter that Dolly Parton and Charles Nelson Reilly never had! Called “spectacular” on the New York Post’s Page Six, an “NYC Culturemaker” by Time Out New York and a “tassel-twirling sensation” by Flavorpill, Clams is a nationally recognized performer and one of New York's favorite stars of the bump 'n' grind. She can be seen every week bringing her unique mix of sexy hilarity and curvaceous glam to a wide variety of stages across New York City, and to Las Vegas, Boston, New Jersey, Washington DC, Key West and many more cities around the country--and Toronto! In summer 2008 Clams joined a very small and exclusive club when she was the winner of two coveted trophies, for “Most Innovative” and “Most Comedic” at the World's only international burlesque competition, the Miss Exotic World Pageant, sponsored by the Burlesque Hall of Fame. She is also a Golden Pastie Award winner at the New York Burlesque Festival. Clams has been featured in Italian Glamour, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New York Post, The Village Voice, Time Out New York, Las Vegas Review Journal, the Arizona Republic, the Cleveland Plain Dealer and many more.
Clams is also the co-producer and co-star of popular shows around New York and up and down the Eastern Seaboard, including the annual shows Smells Like Tease Spirit: 90s Burlesque, AM Gold, Battle of the Burlesque Stars and Lake Clothes Be Gone: Midwest Burlesque; a recurring series of shows at Asbury Lanes with Pinchbottom Burlesque, and many more. As part of Casino O’Fortune Cookie Productions she brings a recurring series of themed shows to Joe’s Pub, including Killer Queen Burlesque, The Costello Show: A Burlesque Tribute to the Other Elvis, Jackson Family Values: Beat It Burlesque and many more. She is also the co-producer of the Monsters of Burlesque tour, bringing the best of NYC burlesque to other states around the nation. Every month, Clams and host Neil O’Fortune bring you the Gameshow Speakeasy, a live-on-stage game show at the Slipper Room on the Lower East Side.
